Dr. Boren received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 1982 and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1986 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Later, at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, he received extensive advanced training in its Hospital Dentistry Residency Program in many areas, including anesthesia, surgery, and TMJ treatment.
