Does dental treatment hurt?
Modern dentistry has made so many advances in pain management!
Your comfort is our top priority. Our dental anesthetics ensure that you don’t feel anything during your treatment, and Dr. Boren is gentle and highly skilled at administering them. You can rest assured that you will feel very comfortable during your procedure.
Dr. Boren is also licensed and experienced in utilizing dental sedation to help patients feel more relaxed and at ease during their procedure. Nitrous oxide will help “take the edge off” and make you feel more at ease during your treatment. It's also safe for children who may feel anxious about the dentist.
We also offer oral sedation, which is administered through a pill, and IV sedation, in which medication is given intravenously. Both of these techniques work well for patients who may have larger treatment plans or multiple procedures they'd like to complete at one time. You'll be able to get the dental care you need, while feeling relaxed and comfortable with little to no memory of what happened during your procedure. Dr. Boren is happy to discuss oral sedation with you to determine which option will best suit your needs and goals for your oral health.
